Apple is now preparing to bring a light and comfortable handset in the market. For this, Apple has filed a patent application of a device, which is more lighter and comfortable than other Augmentative Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR) headset such as Microsoft and Facebook-owned Oculus VR.
According to Slashgear’s report, information published by the US Patent and Trademark Office, Apple has envisaged a new head-mounted display design, which dramatically reduces the size of the VR or AR headset.
In the patent application filing of ‘Dubbed Optical System for Head-Mounted Display’, the multi-lens configuration is described, which is much lighter than the current designs. Apple also said in the application that “it can help users reduce fatigue, so that they will be able to use it for a long time.“
